Michelle  Dobbins, CPA  – Managing Partner and Founder

Michelle founded PFC in May 2000. She continues to work with long-time clients as their businesses evolve and to advise and assist start-up funds as they begin operations. Prior to founding PFC, she served as CFO for a large fund that remains a client of PFC, accounting manager and Business Office Director for a large metropolitan hospital, and began her career as an auditor for a Big 6 accounting firm. Michelle graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Accountancy in 1990.

 

 

 

Dan Smith, CPA - Partner
Dan joined PFC in 2004. Dan manages the partnership/fund accounting for a range of funds, including hedge funds, venture capital funds, and other special interest funds. Dan’s background includes CFO roles with startup and technology companies, and controller positions with a division of a Fortune 100 healthcare technology company, a private equity financed industry leading plastics manufacturer, and a large, privately held international paper and packaging company. He began his career as an auditor with a Big 6 accounting firm and graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Accountancy in 1991. 

 

 

 


Simone Allen – Office Manager

Simone joined PFC in 2004.  She provides office administration, human resources support, share register services and assists with compliance administration.  In addition, she provides executive level administrative support to one of PFC’s largest clients.  She has a background in Human Resources and has worked in various different industries.  Simone graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1992.

 

 

 

 

Kevin Brawner, CPA – Accounting Manager
Kevin joined PFC in 2007. Kevin provides accounting and administrative services for hedge funds, private equity funds, and broker dealers.  He was previously a divisional controller at Affiliated Computer Services, a technology outsourcing company.  Prior to that, he held progressive accounting positions at Assurance America Insurance Corporation, a startup insurance company, and Tech Data Corporation, a Fortune 150 company.  He received an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 2000 and a Masters in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University in 2008.






Angelica Figueroa – Accounting Associate
Angelica Figueroa joined PFC in 2008.  Angelica holds responsibility in performing general accounting/bookkeeping services for various clients and provides assistance in fund administration.  Prior to joining PFC, Angelica was the supervisor in program scheduling for a television network in NYC.  Angelica graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 from Hunter College in NY.

 

 

 

 

 

Leah Heald, CPA – Accounting Manager
Leah joined PFC in 2008 and provides accounting and administration services for a variety of hedge funds, venture capital funds, and real estate funds. She was previously a senior auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm where she obtained her CPA license. Leah received an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Georgia in 2006.

 

 

 

 

 

Vetrece Jackson – Portfolio Accounting Associate
Vetrece joined PFC in 2008 as hedge fund portfolio accounting associate. Prior to joining PFC, she served as a fixed income portfolio management specialist for a Fortune 500 commercial banking institution and a purchasing analyst for the product management division of a top consumer branding company. Vetrece received her B.S. in 2003 from Spelman College. 

 

 

 

 

 

Jessica Reissig – Portfolio Accounting Manager
Jessica joined PFC in 2000.  Jessica works exclusively with hedge fund clients as the portfolio accounting manager.  She performs a variety of client services from daily portfolio administration to back office trading support.  She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1999 with a B.S. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.

 

 

 

 

 

Dalia Robinson – Fund Accounting Associate
Dalia joined PFC in 2011. Dalia provides accounting and administration services for hedge funds and fund of funds.  Dalia is a candidate to sit for the CPA Exam.  Prior to PFC, Dalia worked in public accounting as a tax accountant.  Dalia received her B.S. in Accounting from Georgia Southern University in 2007.

 

 

 

 

 

Drew Schneider – Reception / Administrative Assistance
Drew joined PFC in 2010 and provides administrative services and facilitates daily office operations.  Prior to joining PFC, he worked as a real estate professional in Maryland.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 2000 from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

 

 

 

 

 

Xiaobei Jenny Wang – Fund Accounting Associate
Jenny joined PFC in 2009 and provides accounting and administration services for hedge funds and venture capital funds in addition to completing general accounting processes for non-fund clients, and implementing special projects. Prior to joining PFC, Jenny’s background included a role as Divisional Assistant Director with a higher education institution. Jenny obtained a Masters degree in Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University in 2009 and is currently a candidate to sit for the CPA Exam.

 

 

 

Keith Willis, CPA – Accounting Manager
Keith joined PFC in 2007.  Keith provides accounting and administration services to numerous clients, including hedge funds, venture capital funds, and fund of funds.  Prior to PFC, Keith worked in both business unit controller and accounting manager roles for a Fortune 500 company that specialized in business process outsourcing and a large commercial services company.  Keith gained experience early in his career as an internal auditor for both private industry and state government entities.  Keith obtained a B.S. in Accountancy from Florida State University in 1997.

 

 

 

Tsedey Woldesellassie - Fund Accounting Associate
Tsedey joined PFC in 2010.  Tsedey holds responsibility for completing general accounting/bookkeeping processes for operation oriented clients and related administrative tasks. Tsedey also provides assistance with fund accounting. Prior to joining PFC, she served as a bookkeeper and accounting assistant for an immigration law firm. Tsedey graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting in 2007 and 2008 respectively and is currently a candidate to sit for the CPA exam.
